TechnipFMC has been selected by ExxonMobil Guyana to supply subsea production systems for the Hammerhead development in Guyana’s Stabroek block, TechnipFMC announced on Thursday.
Under the terms of the contract, TechnipFMC will manufacture subsea production systems for the development and provide engineering and project management services. Subsea architecture will include trees, manifolds and associated controls.
TechnipFMC indicated that the value of the contract is between USD 250 million-500 million.
The Hammerhead development is ExxonMobil’s seventh in Guyana. It is located in the prolific Stabriek block, which is operated by ExxonMobil with a 45% stake, alongside block partners Chevron and CNOOC, with 30% and 25% interest, respectively.
ExxonMobil is targeting first oil at Hammerhead in Q2 2029.
